GeoVault provides automated and accessible long-term storage and management of digital imagery files and geospatial information in a work group, intranet or Internet setting. Implemented as a multi-tiered client-server application, the software uses an open architecture to exploit off-the-shelf hardware and software. Its open architecture allows service to any networked client. Clients can customize the software for specific products including scanners, ground processing systems and other digital photogrammetric or image processing products. Further customization is possible by means of standard SQL, ODBC and JDBC database interfaces or the GDM API.
